I am Stephanie Catalan, Founder and CEO of Amison Consulting Services. I am a registered nurse and freelance health writer. I use my nursing and healthcare industry knowledge and experience to create B2B and B2C health and medical content for health care vendors, healthcare organizations, healthcare systems, providers and provider groups, and more. Stephanie Catalan, BSN, RN
Founder and CEO
Stephanie is a registered nurse with 14 years of nursing experience and a clinical background in Medical-Surgical, Stroke, Neurological, and Intermediate Care nursing. For the past 11 years, she has worked within well-known Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) in various roles, including Case Management, Utilization Management, Prior Authorization, and Clinical Quality. Stephanie also gained technical experience by taking on active roles on multiple health information system implementation projects.
Stephanie transitioned to freelance health writing to utilize her knowledge and skills in a way that allows her to maintain a better work-life balance. She enjoys dedicating her time (personally and professionally) to leading, coaching, inspiring and training others. Her goal with each interaction is to "make it make sense", and she brings the same mindset to her writing.
Stephanie is originally from the Midwest and she currently lives in Southern California. She is a Martial Arts enthusiast who enjoys training, competing and teaching Taekwondo.
